Fiery Crash on I-80: Multiple Injuries Reported in Hackensack Collision
A fiery collision on I-80 in Hackensack left several individuals injured, according to officials. The incident, involving multiple vehicles, occurred just before midnight on Tuesday.
Preliminary reports suggest that a tractor-trailer veered across the concrete divider from the eastbound lanes onto the westbound side of I-80. Subsequently, it collided with a car and a box truck, resulting in flames engulfing the latter.

Authorities expressed concern that the driver of the box truck may not have survived the impact. Firefighters swiftly responded to extinguish the blaze and aid the victims.
Those involved in the tractor-trailer and SUV are undergoing treatment for their injuries, officials stated. Debris scattered across the westbound lanes of I-80 persisted into Wednesday morning, causing congestion near exit 67.
